<br />mouth to find it necessary t~ secure hotel rooms and facilities across the river. Portsmouth,
<br />we believe, should have an up-to-da~e, respectable, cleanly-operated colored hotel, and to this
<br />end~ we have secured the property referred to ahove for the development of this idea. It will
<br />mean much to our City.
