<br />that there is a House Bill, khown as H.R. 2~79, the Kearney Bill which provides for the dispo-
<br />sition of personal items of Federal property loan to communities.
<br /> The bill is now before Congress and if acted upon favorably,
<br />it will mean such i~ems as arm bands, gas masks, first aid kits, helmets, and other~e~uipment
<br />will revert ~to communities. ~ I shall watch the progress of the Bill arid will adviae~you accord-
<br />ingly."

<br /> 'The increase of five per cent to all City employees
<br /> for the first six months of 19~5, will continue for

<br /> Our budg?t requirements for ~he year were $2,100,000.O0 and
<br />as of June 3Oth, our iucome was $1,O52,815.61, which allows us to maintain the five per dent
<br />salary increase for the remaining six months."

<br />ed, promptly upon the receip~ thereof, in a separate account or accounts (hereinafter collec-
<br />tively referred to as the "Contribution Account")~ Unless otherwise required by law, the con-
<br />~tribution account shall be set up in a bank or banks which are members of the Federal Deposit
<br />Insurance 0orporation, moneys in the contribution account shall be expended only for the pay-
<br />m~nt of the costs of maintaining~and operating the facilities herein described during the per-
