The following communications from the City Manager.were read: let - "The Federal Goverzm~ent agreed te extend the contract of the Dravo Corporation as you previously requested, plus information on other pro~s' which will be delivered to you at a later date." - 0n motion ~dered filed. 2nd - "The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company has requested use of our garage in the rear of the Portsmouth Armory, from July let through December 31st,1946, at a rental of $100.00 per month. ~ill you please autho~!ze m~ to execute the agreement?" ~otion of Mr. Howa~dto concu~in the Manager,s recommendation was adopted. ~rd - "The Davenport-Lewis CHevrolet Corporation would ~e to use the fire station at Glasgow andEffinghamSt~., temporarily, due to inability to secure other quarters for thei~ business.
