The Czty recognizes the County's mu~u~o~a~e need for room and will <br />allow promptly the u~e of the entire oromud~loor of the Court <br />House and as much of the second floor of the Court St. fire station <br />as needed for their operations. <br /> <br />~aat the County a~d City agree to sell eventually the Court House <br />oroperty and the proceeds with additional money would be used for <br />~he construction of two buildings, in the City of Portsmouth - one <br />for the City and one for ~he County. <br /> <br />?F-aen the City aud County are ready to proceed, the City agrees to <br />donate to the County az least one half of a city block in or nea~ <br />the area of the proposed Portsmouth Civic Center, ~here the City <br />plmus to construct its ~guniclpal building. <br /> <br />~me Co~_uty could use this ss3ea for the construction o f its building <br />and in addition, it would provide adequate space for the parking of <br />County cars.
