<br />194~, with reference to installation of street lights by the
<br />Company which, have been ~equested by the City. You stated in
<br />your ..... letter that Council, at its regu~ a~ meeting on November llth,
<br />instructed you to confer with officials of the Company ~dth refer-
<br />ence to your contract, whereby the City ~ms ~equested ntumerous
<br />lights du~ing~ the last s?veral months which have not been installed.

<br />p~y was not req~d to m~e any i~t~lations within the last year
<br />of th~ contract period~ Our records %nd~cate that the~e were ~prox -
<br />~ate~ sixty lights Which were thus ~ffeoted. Since the execution of
<br />the contract, additional requests have been ~8ceived ~ud M~. Jameson
<br />endeavored to obtain ~om t he City the se~ence in ~hlch the City
<br />would like to have the lights installed whioh had ~ready b~sn~?quested.
<br />No definite schedule ~s suEtted~ but it was requested that cemtain
<br />soeci~ li~ts be ~st~led ~head of those which had been Pequested,
<br />~d I ~ ~o~ed that six of these !i~hts were installed duri~ the
<br />month of November. In a re~en~ letter in which additional li~ts were
<br />~equested~ priority was asked for certain lights in ~%at group, ~d
<br />suck a proc~dune co~d be followed, this wo~d be helpful to us ~ in-
<br />st~l~ug lights in ~ose locations which appear to be most~gent from
<br />the st~udpolnt of the City.

<br />sponsible for~ the delay in complying v~th the City's ~equest.
