<br />sludges and the elutrxa~ion and disposal of solzds suspended mn sludge ~igester l~quors.
<br /> ~h~s system has been adopted by the engineers and it will
<br />be necessary to pay the owner of the patent the s~om of ~,500.00 for perpetual use ~f the pa-
<br />tented rights.
<br /> The engineers estimate that the annual savings in chemicals
<br />and sludge conditioning will be $5,000~00, provided the patented ~ystem is used.
<br /> I recommend the approval of the contract and request that

<br />~tand this is a relic of the old sewerage system and is.of no value and should be disposed of.
<br /> Second - a letter from the Pitometer Company concerning a
<br />survey and map to be made by the Company for a part of the ]~ater system.
<br /> Third the request of ~ne City of Suffolk to donate for
<br />highway puz~oses the lot at the corner of ~¥ashington Street and Pelham Place, formerly used fo~
<br />the storage tanks, i believe all or a portion o f the lot should be donated for that purpose.
<br /> Fourth - at you~ last meeting, i read a letter concerrzing
<br />the installation of an agitator.

<br />March of .~imes Drive held a~benefit dance in the Elm Avenue Armory, I ~ve just this week had
<br />these funds tUrned over to me, and in checking them, I find that of a total of ~89.00 raised,
<br />$S6.70 must be paid out in taXes, and $~0.00 will have to be maid for rental for the Armory.
