George T, McLean appeared before the Council and requested that <br />the City Manager be directed to place, on behalf of the City, with the Public Housing Admini- <br />stration, a bid of $~28.00, for the buildings at the Douglas Park Dormitor~y sites and <br />for the buildir~s in the ~lexander Park Trailer Site, stating that he would secure an agree - <br />merit whereby it would not cost the city any money, and ~e City will be held harmless on the <br />bond. He stated he would see that the bid prices were paid, the sites cleared to the satis - <br />faction o f the government, and two buildings would be moved ~_om the Alexander Park site an~ <br />placed back of the High School Gymnasium or some nearby site, placed upon foundation and jomn- <br />ed together for use of the High School band and one building moved from the Douglas Park site <br />and placed on the playground adjoining the stadium for use as a stable when the horse show is <br />held~ The City would then be required to complete the buildings after he removed them, al <br />though he was sure he could get the J~zlor Chamber of Commerce to complete the stables.
