The lady who %ssued the license in 1948 has no recollection of what occurred at the time the license was issued. She states however, that she issued the li - sense ~equested and no demand was made on Mr. Miller to s~cure the Restau_wa~t license. I believe that Mr. A.E.Pamker did state he would recommend a fund of the 1948 license tax-only. The ~awprovi.des that the coumt may order a refund of a license tax improperly assessed, but application must be made ~ithin one year from the time the license tax is paid.
