N il!er had the use of the license <br />and i cannot tell for w~at reasonh e secured the license. <br /> The lady who %ssued the license in 1948 has no recollection of <br />what occurred at the time the license was issued. She states however, that she issued the li - <br />sense ~equested and no demand was made on Mr. Miller to s~cure the Restau_wa~t license. <br /> I believe that Mr. A.E.Pamker did state he would recommend a <br />fund of the 1948 license tax-only. <br /> The ~awprovi.des that the coumt may order a refund of a license <br />tax improperly assessed, but application must be made ~ithin one year from the time the license <br />tax is paid. <br /> I do not recommend a refund o f the license tax; however ~.
