<br />"Be it resolved by the Council of .the City of Portsmouth that the
<br />Electoral Board of the City be and they are hereby requested to
<br />take a poll o f the qualified voters of the City at the election to
<br />be held on November 2nd, 1R48, to determine the question whether
<br />Day Light Saving Time shoul~d be ~dopted in Portsmouth, and that
<br />proper ballots be printed at the expsr~e of the City and placed
<br />with separate ballot boxe~ at the several voting places of the City
<br />and cause the judges and clerks of the election te conduct the poll.
