Bitisoly stated that the City is using land on Washington Btreet and Green Street~ owned by the Seaboard Air Line Railway, for playground purposes, and expres- sed the opir~on that this is an opportune time to purchase this land; his motion for the Cindy Manager to contact the Seaboard Air Line Railway in reference to same, was adopted. Mr. Houghton stated that he brought up the question of the manuer of issuing business licenses, about eight months ago. The Chair stated that licenses were issued May 1st, 1948 and had about six months to run. On motion adjourned. City Clerk.
