<br />we are to have the fine old bonds mature, or be called. Instead of reinvesting in Municipals,
<br />we just buy Series G Governments because the yield is better, and principal will remain near
<br />par, even though interest rates may(er may not} change.
<br /> O~ course, it takes two bonds to replace ever~ one which matures, and
<br />sometimes we are forttt~aDe enough ~ save enough to buy an extra one- sometimes not. Living
<br />on inoome is no fun these days~
<br /> So sorry we can n~ purchase more City of Portsmouth bonds. They were
<br />good friends the bridge ~hat carried us over.
