This <br />dump is almost continuously on fire, tensing clouds of smoke, which s~ttle in that section, <br />thereby making living conditions very disagreeable. These fires~e usually started by the <br />dumping of hot and burning ashes from the incineratore <br /> This is one time i am in complete agreement ~th the ~0!d G~ouch" and I <br />welcome both his adverse and constructive criticism, ~ud I hope that some innuediate action <br />will be take~ in order that the residents of Shea Terrace may be relieved of the obnoxious <br />pest. <br /> I am suggesting that a competent employee of the Engineering Department <br />be placed in charge of this D~ao with strict inj~uctions not to alIow the dumping of shy raw <br />garbage or hot ashes! that a Sanitary inspector from the Health Department be required to make <br />at least one inspection a day; that the F~re Department be required to put out any and all <br />fires without having first to obtain permission from some higher-up," <br /> <br /> Motion of ~r. ~ilson that this matter be referred to the City ~anager, <br />for investigation and report, was adopted, <br /> <br />On mormon adjoBrned. <br /> <br />Approved -/ <br /> <br /> ~ President. <br /> <br />Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
