Barclay, City Attorney. <br /> <br />Minutes of regular meeting held May 10th were road and approved. <br /> <br /> The Chair recognized Mrs. Tuttis and a group of school pupils. ~s. Tut- <br />tlc stated that they were attending the Council meeting to get some idea of the operationof <br />the City. The Chair thanked them for their atte~d~iuce. <br /> <br /> On motion ~nf Mr. Duke, l,~. Leonard Harp was gr~nvea the prmvmtege of the <br />floor. He asked that the tax on jumk dealers be made for wholesale junk dealers ~nd fetal <br />junk dealers, instead of "j~uk dealer". <br /> <br /> ~otion of ~Y~. Had our h~e been open, they <br />could not have been sent there, as they required constant nursing care. <br /> <br /> 8th - ~The matter of a piece of City-ow~ed real estate, which is bein <br />used at the present time by ?er. ~P~rry Lippman, at the northeast corner of Fourth Street and <br />Gosport Road, has been brought to my attention and, according~vo correspondence, 5~. Lippman <br />was instructed to vacate this property on November ltth, 1947, but no action has been taken. <br /> I ~lso know that from our accounts~ Mr. Lippm~u has said no <br />rental on the property since 1947. I am of the opinion that this propert~ should be restored <br />for street p~mposes because such encroachment is causing congestion on b otb Gosport Road and <br />Fourth St. <br /> <br /> <br />
