<br /> October ETth, an additional trip to Westhaven and Waterview
<br /> and to River Park.
<br /> l~est~haven School to Oregon Acres - additional trip by school
<br /> to run at 1E:35 P.M.
<br /> Extra service, after sporting events, from Stadium to Port
<br /> Norfolk - this service inaugurated October 28th.
<br /> Liberalization o f transfer points - downtovm service frcm
<br /> Washington and High Sts; to County and Court Sts. in general
<br /> made a transfer area rather than specified corners being adhered
<br /> to as heretofore, effective November E0th.
<br /> E~press service from Navy Yard express bus service from Navy
<br /> Yard to Port Eorfolk at end of work day inaugurated November Elst
<br /> on two-weeks trial basis.
<br /> Service to J&on l Tyl~r. ~chool - or~ bus to run to school in
<br /> morning and one from school in afternoon time to be set after
<br /> conference of company and Johh Tyler' ~. PTA.
<br /> Additional service on Park View - Pr~ntis ~ark line - one addi-
<br /> tinnal bus to be placed in operation during certain periods of day.
<br /> Mr. Howard reported that persons trmusferring frcm ~esthaven-
<br /> ~aterview lines to Port Norfolk may trmusfer additionally at High
<br /> St. and Ninth Ave., as well as at High St. and Et. Vernon Ave."

<br />properties located on Chestnut and Race Streets, concerning the colored Y.m.C.A. building and
<br />recommend that I be authorized to advertise for the sale of the property at public auction,

<br /> I have had a conference without. Wi!ii,ms and have discus-
<br />sed the four items reso~ehded in his letter. Since a portion of the request will require a
<br />long-range planning program and will affect all of t~e employees of the City, I recommend that
<br />a committee be appointed to consider this matter on a long-range program basis."
