The regular meeting of the City <br />Council falls on September 12th. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Duke that the regular Council meeting be held on <br />Seotember gth, 19~0 was adopted. <br /> <br /> !3th - "Due to increased work load in the Social Service Bureau, <br />there is need for ~o additional clerks. This will require an aporooriation of $740.00 for <br />the remainder of the year. I recommend that two clerks be employed- end that an appropria- <br />tion of $7~0.0f for this purpose be placed on its first reading?' <br /> <br /> Motion of I~. HOward that the two lots #!gl and #!~2 adjacent to <br />Pinners Point Methodist Church be advertised for sate: with a guarantee of ~200.00- for the <br />lots, was ~dopted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wilson spoke in regard to Mr. Henderson, as follows: <br /> <br /> "Councilman Henderson - Inasmuch as your term C office ~lle~pire <br />on the thirty-first day~ this month, and this is perhaps the last regular meeting of this <br />Council you will attend as a City councilman~ I want to say this before you leave us.
