Wilson that the School Board be reeuested to investigate <br />the condition of the Sixth Avenue School heating olant with a view to ~lacing the pi~t ~n a <br />condition to avoid further inconvenience to the pupils~ was adopted. <br /> Motion of M~. Duke to go into the election of a member of the School <br />Board from Second Distric% was~adopted. <br /> Motion & Mr. Duke that J. M. Tusing be elected to the School Board from <br /> Second Distric% was adopted~ s~d by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Duke ~ Bilisoly~ Grimes~ Houghton~ ~ow~rd~ Sturtevan% <br /> Smith~ Warren, Weiseman~ Wilson <br /> Nays: Nohe <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Houghton to go into an executive session~ was adopted. <br /> <br /> The Mayor stated that the City of ?ortsmouth cor&d purchase the Grice <br /> Home on North Street for t'ibr~ry purposes~ for the sum of $10~000.00. <br /> appoint a committee to <br /> Motion c~ Mr. Houghton to/investigate the matter, v~s adopted. <br /> <br />The Chair appointed Messrs.
