Mapp, Superintendent of City Schools, was read: <br /> <br /> "It is going to be necessary to put a new heating plant in the Sixth Avenue School dur- <br />ing the summer. If this plant is going to be installed in time for operation next fall, we must begiu planning <br />for it at once. The School Board would like to have your permission to proceed with this matter immediately, It <br />is my understanding that this will como out of the utility tax fund, rather than from a general appropriation., <br /> <br /> Motionof Mr. Wilson that the School Board be authorized to proceed with plans for in- <br />stalling a new heating plant in the Sixth avenue School was adopted. <br /> <br /> The following letter From A.J. Mapp, Superintendent of Schools,. was read: <br /> <br /> "I am inclosing a copy of a letter from Mr.Walford of Walford and Wright, Architects, <br />stating concessions he has agreed to make on his fees for the new I C Norcom High School." <br /> <br /> Inclosure - <br /> "In compliance with a request by the City Council, we will agree to reduce our fee on <br />equipment to one half the usual fee, and further, will not bil2 any fee on the shop equipment. In ma~tng this <br />concession, we wish it understood that it will not set a precedent on any future work as we are doing so on this <br />project in order to co-operate with the School Board and Council. Mr. Duke asked me to let them know end we re- <br />quest that you please pass this information on to them." <br /> <br />On motion filed. <br /> <br /> Motion of ~ir.
