Barclay, City Attorney. ~ <br /> <br /> Minutes of regular meeting held on March tlth, 1952, were read and approved. <br /> <br /> The following notice and report from the Planning and Zoning Commission were read: <br /> <br /> "Pursuant to the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, notice is hereby given that a <br />public hearing will he held at 7:30 P.M., on Tuesday, March 25th, 1952, in the Council Chamber, Municipal Build- <br />lng, Portsmouth, Virginia, for the purpose of altering zones and reclassifying the following property: <br /> 1. To rezone ~he north side of High St., beginning at a point t00 feet - <br /> east from Sixth Avenue to Western Branch Road by 106 feet deep] the <br /> south side of High Street, beginning 1OO feet east from Sixth Avenue <br /> to Western Branch Road by /10.5 feet deep from Multiple Family Class E <br /> to Commercial Cla~s "G"." <br /> <br /> "At the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission, held March 6th,t952, <br />the following applications were considered.
