<br /> "The Board c~ Directors of the Portsmouth Humane Society wishes to express to the City
<br />of Portsmo~uth Council its firm support of a compulsory Rabies Vaccination program, embodying within it the
<br />ions of Rabies Clinics. Our concern for the animal as well as the human population m~kes it mandatory that we
<br />~ort such a proposal. Our own knowledge plus the experience of our voluntary Rabies Clinics has shown that the
<br />vaccination ~ is harmless to the animal receiving it and in noway impairs their well-being.
<br /> We urge yc~ ko render the animals and people of this community the service of protecting
<br />them against the horrors of rabies by passage of the Rabies Maccination Ordinance as set forth above.
