<br /> 1st - "As directed by resolutions heretofore passed by you, I offered for sale at
<br />public auctio~ on F~iday, May 16, 1952, at 12 o'clock M. in front of the Cour~ House of this City, after first
<br />giving ten days notice byadvertisement in the Portsmouth Star, a daily newspaper, the following ?ealestate ac-
<br />quiredbythe City, to protect its lien of taxes and not needed forpublic purposes, namely:
<br />
<br /> 1. A one-half interest in lots numbers 257, ~5, ~46, ~d+7, ~36, 5~0, 5kl, 5&7 and 548 on the
<br /> plat of ~he South Portsmouth Land sad Improvemen~ Company, recorded in the Clerk's office
<br /> of Norfolk County in Map Book 2 pages 58 and 59, which were purchased by Hyman Cooper
<br /> for the sum of $~65.00.
<br />2. Lots numbers 29 in block 1~, 6 in block 22, 20 in block 13, and 20 and 21 in block 6, on
<br /> the Plat of the Airline Land Company gecorded in the ±erk's office of Norfolk County in Map Hook 4 page 45,
<br /> which were purchased by Charles L.Reynolds for the sum of $450.00.
<br /> I recam~end that the sales be confirmed and that the proper officers of the
<br />City be authorized to execute the deeds for the land ."

<br /> Motion of Mr. Wilson to concur in the reco~endation of the City Manager and that
<br />the proper City' officials be authorized to sign contract, was adopted.
