I recommend that the city purchase the property- for the sum of $1,300.00 with the understanding that she will remove the building from the premises within thirty days from the date of acceptance.· Motion of Mr. Sturtevant that the City ~anager be authorized to purchase the above property for $1,300.00 was adopted. llth - "In accordance with the resolution adopted by you on the tenth day of June, 1952, I offered for sale at public auction to the highest bidder, on Thursday~ July lC, 1952, at 12 o'clock M., in from of the Court House building iu the City of Portsmouth, lots numbers 8Ob 61, 63, 64 and 65 on the plat of Pinners Point Naterfront Company, fronting on Seaboard Avenue, and lots numbers 7, 8, 9 and lO in block number 24 on the Plan of Brighton, fronting en Pearl Street. L~ts n,,mhers 60 amd 61 were sold to W.R. Butterton for $650.00, and lot num- ber 63 was sold to ~.R. Butterten for the sum of $300.00. I recommend that tho sale cf ,these lots be confirmed and that the proper, officers of the City be directed t~ execute a deed or dee~s ~to W.R~ Butterton or to such per~ or corporation that he may direct, for the land.
