This property consists of five lots located on the west <br />side of Virginia Avenue between Cleveland and Detroit Streets numbers 2265 thru 2269 in Deed Book 90A page 137. <br /> (~r reasons are as follows: <br /> 1. A non-profit organization for the benefit of the entire comm~mnity <br /> of Port Norfolk and Pinners Point. <br /> .2. P~omote athletic activities ~n the com~mmaities. <br /> '3. Used as present headquarters for the Junior Police in this precinct. <br /> ~. ~Although this club is an Incorporation, the club house is open for the <br /> use of children between the ages of eight to eighteen one night a week <br /> and on Saturday afternoons. <br /> 5. An asset to the location where the club buildLug is erected." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Howard to refer to the City Manager and City Attorney for report to the <br />Council at the next regular meeting, was adopted. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Houghton that a committee be appointed to work with a like committee from <br />the Norfolk County Board of Supervisors and Housing Authority au a joint Municipal Center, was adopted. <br /> <br /> The Chair appdiHted Messrs. Howard, Houghton and Bilisoly on said committee. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Howard to refer to the City Manager and City Attorney the question of the <br />debris adjacent to the West Norfolk Bridge and that the City Engineer make a survey and map of the lots involved <br />and report to the Council at the first meeting in September, was adopted. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Bilisoly to refer to the City Manager and City Attorney the question of a <br />permanent assessor for the City of Portsmouth, was adopted. <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />Approved - <br /> <br />President. <br /> <br /> <br />
