Grimes, Carl C~ Houghton,Jr., <br />James N. Howard, R. Irvine Smith, E. R. Sturtevan~t, C. E. Warren, H. Earl <br />Weiseman, Pearle J. Wilson, I. G. Vass,City Manager, and R. C. Barclay, City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />Minutes of regular meeting held on July 22nd, 1952 were read and approved. <br /> <br />Motion Of Mr. Bilisoly to suspend the rules to hear from the School Board, was adopted. <br /> <br /> Nr. P~pp, Superintendent of Schools, spoke in reference to the School building program <br />and requested the Council to give the School Beard authority to proceed with the following projects: <br /> <br />"BUILDING PROGRAM ADOPTED BY SG~OOL BOARD FRIDAY, AUGUST 1. 1952 <br /> <br />PROPOSED PROJECTS <br /> <br />ed. <br /> <br />was adored. <br /> <br />1. New Woodrow Wilson High School <br />2. Six room annex with cafeteria, library and <br /> auditorium at Westhaven <br />3. Eight room annex with cafeteria, auditorium <br /> and library at Mt. James H. Gaskins to rezone lots l0 and 12 block 2, on Airline Blvd., <br /> from Single Family, Class '~' to Multiple Family, Class 'D' be denied. <br /> 2.Raymond B. Seward to rezone the southwest corner of Jefferson St. and <br /> Deep Creek Blvd., fronting 222.6 feet on the west side of Deep Creek <br /> Blvd., by 100 feet deep, from Two Family Class 'C' to Commercial <br /> Class ~G' he denied. <br /> 3. P.H. Boyette to rezone lots 257 thru 270 and lots 295 %hra~299, <br /> fronting 220 feet on the west side of Garfield St., by approximately <br /> 100 feet deep and 300 feet on the east side of Garfield St., by ap - <br /> proximately 100 feet deep from Single Family Class 'A' to Multiple <br /> Family Class 'D' be denied. <br /> ~.
