D.C. Wilkins to rezone the southeast corner of South Street and Parker Avenue <br /> fronting 26.4 feet on the south side of South St. and 78.5 feet on the east side <br /> of parker Avenue from Two Family, Class "C" to Commercial Class "F" be approved~ <br /> 2 S. Howard, repo~ti~g for the Committee to study the question of selling the properEy ~ <br />known as the Jeffery Wilson Home Site on Western Bra~h Road and Glasgow Street, recommended that the property be <br />advertised forsale after proper restrictions have been established and approved by the P:lanning Commission. <br /> On motion of Mr. Howard, the recommendation of the Committee was adopted. <br /> <br /> The following reports from the City Manager were read: <br /> 1st - "Since S~turday, May 30th is a legal holiday L ~ · ' · and May 31st isI <br /> t the Cmt Collector he authorized a~d directed to receive License Taxes which .are due and 1 <br />Sunday, I recommend fha Y ,, <br />payable on or before Nay 31st, 1953 through June 1st, 195~, without penalty. Thxs ms to be for the year 1953 only] <br /> Motion of Mr. Smith to concur in the recommendation of the City Manager was adopted. <br /> <br /> 2nd - "I submit the attached report from J.L. Jolliff, Delinquent Tax Collector, for <br /> the month of-April, 1953." <br /> <br />"1. Period covered April 2nd to May 1st. <br />2. Handed to Attorney 64 parcels of land, with buyers and having a tax <br /> · value of $11,780.18 without penalties~ <br />3. Delinquent real estate taxes collected in,his office, prior to 1952, <br /> amount to $2512.74 without penalties. <br /> <br /> <br />
