<br /> Motion of Mr. Walker that the Council, acting as a Committee of the Whole, with the
<br />City Manager and City Attorney, investigate and determine the desirability of combining the offices of City Col-
<br />lector, Commissioner of Revenue, License Inspector and City ~reasurer, was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br /> "Sectio~ 2-80 - Report and Estimate of Expenditures Prerequisite to Appropriations.
<br /> Before any appropriation for the support and maintenance of the p~blic schobls in'
<br />the City shall be made by the City Council, the Board of School Trnszees, through the Superintendent, shall,
<br />previous ~o the commencement of the school year for which such appropriation is asked, present to. the Council
<br />an itemized repor~ of their expenditures for the preceding year, and also an i%emized estimate of their probable
<br />receipts and necessary expenses for the schbol year for which such appropriation is asked.
<br /> Section 8-3. Depositories for and withdrawals of city funds in general.
<br /> All funds of the City, except funds of the Water Department, shall be deposited in
<br />such banks of the city as the City Council may from~time ~o time designate, to She c~edit of the City. The fund~
