<br />Dock Landing School. Ho~vever, Mr. Johnson stated, the City Council approved a recormnendation ~o discuss this
<br />ma~ter farther with the representatives of Norfolk County at any time so desired in order to devise a plan that
<br />will be suitable to both the City and the County.

<br /> "As has been reported in the local press, approximately twenty persons were in -
<br />jured in varying degrees because of the collapse of a section of bleachers in the Woodrow Wilson gym on February
<br />3, 1959. There is no liability insurance to cover this unfortunate occurrence, largely because of immunity from
<br />liability bestowed upon school operations under our s~ate law. ~owever, we feel we have amoral obligation to
<br />make~ a contribution toward out-of-pocket medical expenses incurred by these persons.
<br /> We respectfully reques~ your concurrence in our proposal to make such payments
<br />where warranted either from available funds in oar current operating budget or in the hands of the Athletic
<br />Association, o~ from both.
<br /> A study is under way to determine the feasibility of obtaining liability insur -
