<br />Council of Garden Clubs for the landscaping 'zn front of the Mn~icipzl Building. It is beautiful. I therefore
<br />move that our City Attorney draw an appropriate resolution to e~press our .thanks for their interest and what I
<br />know must have been a substantial financial ~expenditure."

<br /> 59-281 - The following letter from Portsmouth Police Department CI0 Local
<br />No.442, signed, by T.E. Engram, President, and Jack De~psey, Secretary, was read:

<br />zo write a~d request tha~ the Executive Officers so named below, be placed on the agenda for Councib meeting on
<br />Tuesd-ay the 13th of October, 1959. The purpose of this would-be in regards to Vote Coercion and Intimidation in the
<br />Police Dep~rtment."
