November 25. 1997 <br /> <br />97-3'16 Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br />97 <br /> <br />277 <br /> <br />Mr. Benn moved to commemorate December 7, 1997 as Pearl Harbor Day <br />and fly flags at half-staff. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin asked that staff who participated in the joint Holidays in the <br />Cities Parade be recognized. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin asked that the City MaNager respond to City Council with a report <br />on Fishers Hill and Mt. Calvary cemeteries. <br /> <br />Mayor Holley suggested that Portsmouth extend an invitation to Norfolk to <br />participate in Portsmouth's Memorial Day Parade. <br /> <br />- 317 Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />Helen Person, 1314 Green Street, spoke regarding lead and a power surge <br />in Washington Park, and thanked the Mayor's and City Manager's Office for <br />assistance provided to Washington Park. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes prepared by: <br /> <br />Debbie K.
