Presentation of storm drainage problem zn area from Simonsdale School~exten~ing south for several blocks on three con~rerging streets (Byers Sykes and~Beaton Drive.)effecting the health and proper~y of approximately 50 families ~and the student body and staff, of the School. Mr. Walker presented a map with explanation of a proposal to correct the drainage ~condition .in..Simonsdale. - The City Manager s. tat. ed that the ,City has emp%oyed an engineering firm t~) make a study of the situati6n in Simonsdale and that, upon advice of the engineers, it would be economical to correct the drainage condition at ,the same, time ~he sanitary sewers are installed, which will be done. Motion of Mr. B ames to suspend the rules to hear from interested persons, was adopted. Mr. N~r~y SJ~mpson spoke, exp~essin~ his ~pllreciatioe for take c~re of both the drainage and sewers in Simonsdale.
