Bidgood, Jr., was read: <br /> <br /> "Your agenda for December 13, 1960 contains a proposal that the single ~ssessor system <br />on real estate be recreated in Portsmouth. West Side believes that an ordinance of this magnitude should be <br />thoroughly-presented ~o the Eaxpayers prior to becoming law. B0-367 - Motion of Mr. Walker to suspend the rules to hear from Arthnr Hughes, was <br /> <br /> Mr. Hughes spoke regarding the sale of Christmas trees by the Lions Club (Olive Branch)il- <br />az Brighton and Airline Boulevard, which ma~ter was referred to the City Manager at the last meeting of Council. <br /> <br /> I~he Manager reported that he had investigated and found that no ordinance was being <br />violated in the use of the lot for sale of trees; therefore the City could not take any action in the matter. <br /> <br />Brighton St. The Manager was requested to give all possible assistance. <br /> <br /> <br />
