<br /> 61-83 - Refund of $8.25 to Dorothea N. Johnson for incorrect assessment on tangible
<br />personal property, was taken up.

<br />property, approved on first readingat last meeting, was taken up.

<br />61-99 - .The following letter from the Portsmouth-Norfolk-County Bar Association was

<br />read:

<br />Norfolk County Bar AssoCiation..
<br /> .We.hope that this resolution ~wilt meetwith the. approval of the City Council,
<br />and that ~the Judges of the City Courts will be provided wi~h judicial robes.

<br />surrounding the City of Portsmouth and the Coungy of Norfolk go wear judicial
<br />robes when sitting on the bench of their respective courts, and .......

<br />County Bar.Association that ~this custom lends dignity and aids decorum in the
<br />courtroom and h~lps in the~ orderly administration of j~s~ice and increases
<br />~he respect g%ven go the honorable judges of said cojarts, to~hich respec~
<br />they are justly entitled.

<br />Portsmouth-NorfolkCounty Bar Association requests and recommends that all

<br />into traffic going not toPortsmouth, but out of ~arts~outh. Along~ ghis way approximately one-]~alf mile past
<br />Leckie Street into Glasgow Street. Now head north ~again~for fivelblOcks~,and you still.haven't reached ~he
