Holley Ill, Vice Mayor Johnny M. Clemons, Bernard D. Griffin, <br />Sr., Cameron C. Pitts, James T. Martin, P. Ward Robinett, Jr., J. Thomas Benn III, City <br />Manager Ronald W. Massie, City Attorney G. Timothy Oksman. <br /> <br />98- 12 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City <br />Council Chamber, 801 Crawford Street, 6th floor, 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 1998, <br />for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to <br />go into an Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to go into Executive <br />Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia, to discuss <br />or consider the following matters: <br /> <br />Discussion of the performance of specific public officers, appointees or <br />employees of the City, as permitted by Subsection (A)(1). <br /> <br />The condition, acquisition and use of real property for a public purpose, <br />or the disposition of publicly held property, as permitted by Subsection <br />(A)(3). <br /> <br />3. Legal matters as permitted by Subsection (A)(7). <br /> <br />Motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> ~.otion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, pursuant to Section 2.? <br />344.1 'of the Code of Virg nia cert fying that to the best of the Council Member s <br />knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br />1.
