<br /> VIRGINIA, 1950, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR THE COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE OF
<br /> ~CMILDR~N BETWEEN THE AGES OF SEVEN AND SIXTEEN .IN THE SCHOOLS SPECIFIED
<br /> THEREIN, SHALL BE IN EFFECT AND IN FORCE WITHIN THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH,
<br /> VIRGINIA."

<br /> In this connection, communications from the Wesley Community Center, the Tidewater
<br />Deanery, Richmond Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, and the United
<br />Community Services were presented

<br />On motion of Mr~ Eastes, the ordinance was adopted and by the following vote:

<br />WITHIN THE 'WASHINGTON PARK LOW RENT-SLUM CLEARANCE PROJECT TO THE PORTSMOUTH
<br />REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY."

<br />WARD TO THE NEW HIGHLAND BILTMORE SCHOOL.

<br />SUPPLEMENTAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM UPON WITHDHAWAL OR DEATH OF MEMBER BEFORE
<br />RETIREMENT."

<br /> BILLS, SECTION 29-42, PERTAINING TO WATER AND SEWER SERVICE CONTRACT WHEN
<br /> O~NER ISRESPONSIBLE FOR WATER USED BY iTENANT; AND SECTION 29-57, PERTAINING
<br /> TO TURNING WATER SERVICE ON OF OFF, PROVIDING A ~FEE THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING
<br /> AN INSPECTION FEE WHEN WATER SERVICE IS TURNED ON BY AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON."
