<br />63-36 - The following communication from Anna F. Owens, 1604 North Street, was road:

<br /> "There is a vacan~ lot.located a~ the Northeast corner of North Street and Williamsburg
<br />Avenue. This lot is identified as parcel #17 on tax plate 58. It iS my understanding that this propersy is
<br />owned by the City of Portsmouth.
<br /> [ am interested in purchasing this properry, and therefore, I reques~ that it be declared
<br />surplus and made available for sale."

<br />Motion of Mr. Barnes to refer ~o the City Manager was. adopted, without dissenting vote.

<br /> 63-37 - On motion of Mr. Barnes, the privilege of the floor was granted E. E. Williams
<br />who requested certain information and was referred zo the~City Auditor.
<br />
<br /> 63-38 - Mayor Smith stated that he had received no further information regarding his
<br />election by the Council to the Southeastern Regional Planning Commission.
<br />
<br />On motion adjourned.
