REVOCATION~,'OF~';~PERMIT:,','Violation of any-of the above may serve as grounds for revocation of the permit by the- City Ayes: Benn, Clemons, Griffin, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Holley Nays: None - CITY MANAGER'S REPORT - 98-100 Adoption of the following ordinances recommending the proposed operating budget for fiscal year ending June 30, 1999. a) Adoption of an ordinance to re-establish the current tax rates on real estate, tangible personal property, privately owned pleasure boats, privately owned camping trailers and motor homes, and to establish the rate for Machinery and Tools at $3.00 per $100 of assessed valuation. b) Adoption of an ordinance to amend Section 35-342 of the City Code by increasing the E-911 tax rate from $1.75 to $2.00 per month to assist in the funding of the costs associated with the delivery of service and maintenance for this important emergency system. c) d) Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 38 of the City Code pertaining to water service charges and sewer service charges. Adoption of an ordinance to repeal Ordinance No.-1995-47 and to enact a new Section 19-150 of the City Code establishing fees for admission to the Children's Museum of Virginia from $4.00 to $5.00 per day with a corresponding increase in the "Keypass" rate, that entitles admission to all museums of the City for the day, from $5.00 to $6.00. e) Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 7 of the City Code ,pertaining to building inspections and building code fees ..... Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 25 of the City Code pertaining to feeS Collected for the use of ~the City's swimming pools, the rental of shelters at City Park, as well as rental of athletic facilities and recreation centers. g) AdoptiOn of an ordinance establishing the Classification and Pay Plan fOr the fiscal year under which the compensation and pay for City employees is administered. h) Adoption of an ordinance to amend Section 12,4 of the City Code pertaining to the continuation of grant appropriations for the entire period of the grant. AdoPtion of an ordinance to appropr ate the funds necessary to implement the annual Operating Bud{let for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999. An ordinance to amend Chapter 38 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth pertaining to water meter charges and the disposal of sewage discharged into the City sewer system. d= An ordinance to repeal Ordinance #1995-47 and to enact a new Section 19, 150 of the City Code establishing fees for admission to museums in the City of Portsmouth.
