<br />NUmbERED 15, IMPOSING AND PROVIDING AN ASSESS¥~NTAS PART OF
<br />THE COSTS INCIDENT TO EACH ORIGINAL CIVIL ACTION FILED IN
<br />THE COURTS OF TEE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH AND PROVIDING T~IAT
<br />SUCH ASSESSmeNT SO COLLECTED SHALL BE HELD FOR THE BSTABLISH~NT

<br />the City of Portsmouth was adopted.

<br />Mr. Barnes nominated Charles L. Cain, for a term of four years, beginning

<br />On motion of Mr. Leafy, nominations were closed.

<br />Vote being taken, Mr. Cain was unanimously elected.

<br /> 65-328 - Motion of Mr. Barnes to go into the election of members to the Portsmouth
<br />Library Board was adopted.

<br /> Mr. Barnes nominated Mrs. William R. Bruce, Dr. Alvin P. Long and Mrs. Otis
<br />P. Watts, to serve a three year term ending December 1, 1968.

<br />On motion of Mr. Dillon, nominations were closed.

<br /> 65-529 - Motion of Mr. Bastes to go into the election(6f a memher to the Minimum
<br />Housing Board, was adopted.

<br />Mr. Eastes nominated Leo V. Schocklin for a four year term beginning

<br />On motion of Mr. Barnes, nominations were closed.

<br />Vote being taken, Mr. Mchocklin was unanimously elected.

<br /> 65-290 - Motion of Mr. Bastes to defer action on election of Justices of Peace until
<br />the next regular meeting of Council, was adopted, without dissenting vote.
