<br /> "WHEREAS, Construction Associates, Incorporated, has made application
<br />to vacate and close all that certain portion of Loudoun Avenue lying between the northern right-of-way
<br />line of Race Street and the southeastern right-of-way line of Airline Boulevard; and it appearing that
<br />notice of the application and request for the appointment of viewers was ~duly posted on April 29, 1966,
<br />on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of
<br />the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on a tree in the vicinity of the street proposed to
<br />be closed.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia, that Mitlard C. Norman, James V. McGehee, John E. Scott, Frank N. Bilisoly, and L. A. Clark
<br />be appointed viewers to view said street and report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion
<br />any, if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the aforementioned street."
