Host, Assistant Chief, Fire <br />Department, was read: / <br /> "As I am retiriMg from the Fire Department as of December 18, 1966 <br />it has become necessary for me to tender my resignation as a member2of the Board of <br />Minimum Housing Standards. <br /> <br /> It has been a pleasure to work for and with the city for many years. <br />I hope to continue this service in some other capacity. <br /> <br /> This resignation takes effect at your pleasure." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Knight to accept the resignation witk regrets effective December 18. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes to amend by adding that a resolution be prepared commending <br />Mr. Host for his work on the Minimum Housing Board, was adopted. <br /> <br /> Vote being taken, the amended motion was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> 66-262 - Motion of Mr. Barnes to go into the election of a Justice of Peac~ was <br />adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br /> Mr. King nominated A. G. Meginley. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Knight, nominations were closed. <br /> <br /> Vote being taken, A. G. Meginley was unanimously elected Justice 6f Peace, to fill the <br />unexpired term of Herbert C.
