numerous occasions concerning city code reouirements. The employees were most helpful to
us. We would particularly like to thank C~ief Crowe, of the Police Dpeartment, Ca~tain
Gilbert, of the Fire Prevention Bureau, Mr. Trant, the Building Inspector, Mr. Jones, the
Electrical Inspector, and Mr. Allen, the Pltmbing Inspector.
Although we have been open f~r only a ~hert time, we have fotmd that the young people
of Pbrt§mo~th are quite enthusiastic about having a place designed especially for them. In
addition, countless parents and interested citizens have been out to inspect our facility. They
have been unanimous in thief approval of the club.
We would very much like for the members of the City Council, the City Manager, and all
other interested City officials to be our guests on one of the nights we are open. At present
we are having dances on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Any night that you would like
to attend would be agreeable with us.
In the event you cannot attend as a group, we would still like for you as individuals to
come by whenever you have the opportunity. Ne are certain that you will be pleased with what
you see, and feel proud, as we do, that Portsmouth now has a teenage dance club which has
been acclaimed by many knowledgable people, as being the finest that they have seen anywhere.
