Ellis, Principal Management Analyst <br />Terri Williams, Virginian Pilot <br /> <br />98 - 205 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held at the <br />Williamsburg Hospitality House, 415 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, Virginia, <br />on Sunday, August 16, 1998 at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, August 17, 1998 at 8:00 <br />a.m., and on Tuesday, August 18, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of a City <br />Council Retreat. <br /> <br />In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br />98 - 206 - The following items were discussed during Public Work Session: <br /> <br />1. Risk Management Strategy <br />2. City Facilities Study <br />3. Livability/Neighborhood Quality <br />4. Boards and Commissions/General Business <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to go into Executive <br />Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for <br />the following: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />The condition, acquisition, or use of real property for a public <br />purpose, or the disposition of publicly held property in the Midtown <br />portion of the City, as permitted by Subsection (A)(3). <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Discussion or consideration of matters of actual or probable <br />litigation and other specific legal matters requiring the provision of <br />legal advice by legal counsel, as permitted by Subsection (A)(7). <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Discussion of the performance of a specific Council appointee, <br />and/or other public official of the City, as permitted under Subsection <br />(A)(1). <br /> <br /> <br />
