<br /> 70-263 - "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend it be placed on first reading. This closes a
<br />portion of West Road between High Str6ee and Woodr~ Wilson High School. Maryview Hospital is requesting th~s
<br />closing in order that they can expand their facilities. The closing is being requested at this time as this
<br />is contingent upon the hospital receiving Mederal funds for its~expansion.
<br />
<br /> WhiRe the request for this closing is being made at this time, the street will not be physica~l~ closed.
<br />After the adoption of the ordinance, the hospital will grant the City an easement for the duse of this street
<br />until such time as the street is needed for hospital use.
<br />
<br /> The Planning Commission has previously recommended this closing subject to certain conditions such as
<br />utility easement and provisions for improvements to other streets serving Woodrow Wilson High School. It is
<br />not anticipated that this street will be physically closed until such requirements can be met. A report of

<br />boats waiting to remove them from the water. These funds will provide the docking space of approximately 70 ft.
<br />on each side of the ramp."
