This appropriates <br />$29,777 for the police communications system. 5his covers a grant received from the State Division of Justice <br />and crime Prevention under the L.E.A. Pro,sm. The City~ll receive $17,866 o£ federal fundssfor improvement <br />to the police co~ications system. <br /> <br /> This will allow the City to have additional radios iD_ resettle in case of breakdown of our present equ~.p- <br />ment. The additional equipment also will pro,ride a portable unit ~or each of the five police community officers <br />that is proposed %under ou_~ Co~ty Relation Program. <br /> <br /> With this appropriation, the City will be pro~iding rao~tching ~d~in the amount of $11.911 for this pro- <br />ject." <br /> <br /> On motion of ~h~.
