This amends the
Crawford Urban Renewal Project plan with regard to Parcel 11 on the northeast corner of Cour'
and County Streets.

The resolution eliminates the maximum building height of 30 feet, and also eliminates
the 20-ft. setback from the easterly property line. The Housing Authority has requested this
amendment as the developer of this property desires to build a multi-story building.

The Authority further advises that this will in no way interfere with the use and value
of the surrounding property, or the potential development of the area. Further, the eliminat
of the 20-ft. setback from the easterly property line is justified due to the dedication of
a 5-ft. utility easement and a 2S-ft. paved and curbed access lane adjacent to the eastern
boundary of the parcel."

On motion of Mr. Irvi'ne Smith, the following resolution was adopted, and by the follow-
ing vote:

"RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, APPROVING
THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT NO.6, CRAWFORD URBAN RE-
NEWAL PROJECT, VA R-SS

WHEREAS, by resolution adopted August 9, 1967, and amended by Amendment NO.
