June 22, 1971 <br /> <br /> We submit ~that this situation call for immediate rectification, and request Council to <br />authorize provision of separate rest room facilities in the Food St~.mp Office, and provide tha <br />they be ade.quate!y equipped and maintained for both employee and patron usage. <br /> It is needless for us to inform you that the fire a few weeks ago has created another <br />serious probl.em for.both employees and the public because there is no space for operation of <br />the food st. amp program ~other than the public hallway of the building. Because of such operating <br />space, the employees are suffering from the odor that comes from the rest rooms eight hours or <br />more each day. <br /> Please be informed that sorious health problems may result f~om this. <br /> There~Core, we als, o submit that thi~ situation call for. immediate rectification, and re- <br /> quest that Council authorize provisions for office space for the employees to continue ~to give <br /> services for the needy people of our city."
