<br />units and ~einspections as is deemed necessary by the Director of Public Health any land-
<br />lord preventing any annual inspections when dwelling becomes vacant not be allowed to rent
<br />again until the insFection has been concluded. Addition, the article pertaining to in-
<br />spection fees be changed that annual inspection, first be $5.00; second $10.00; third ~20.00'
<br />and doubled until the rental unit is brpught up to code standards.

<br />BETWEEN BAGLEY STREET AND FREDERICK BOULEVAR~ FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXI-

<br /> WHEREAS, Felix Sparks, Jr., Ida Sparks, and John Thomas have made application to vacate
<br />and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street and it appearing that notice
<br />of the application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on November
<br />12, 1971, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the
<br />Virginia Electric and Power Company pole number 9121 at the northeast corner of Hull and
<br />Bagley Streets, and on the Virginia Electric and Power Company pole number 9064 at the north
<br />side of Hull Street west of Bagley Street in front of subject property.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that Frank N. Bilisoty, L. A. Clarke, Luther Tapp, James Choate and Loyed W. Gardner, be
<br />appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such street and report to
<br />this council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would
