The schools' two major revenue sources, other than local funds, are the State
Basic Aid funds, and Impact Funds.

As of February 3, 1972, the State Basic Aid appropriations appear to be in balance --
actual receipts are in accord with the budget estimates. However, Dr. Alford said, an
analysis of Impact Fund~ revenue is not as encouraging. These funds were appropriated in
fiscal year 1971. This is to apply to
current school programs now in effect."

Adoption of this resolution should remove some pressure from local finances for the
1971-72 budget year."

:Motion of Mr. Raymond Smith and seconded by Mr. King, to adopt resolution cited in the
~¢pe~t, was adopted by the following vote:

Ay%s: Holley, Xing, Irvine .Smith, Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes
Nays: None

On motion of Mr; Irvine Smith and seconded by Mr. Raymond Smith, to accept the City
Manager's report, with a reguest, that monthly reports be given from the City Manager and
~up~r'~t~den~::~f~"~¢~oe~:~:W~-s~-~p~ by~eTf~O~g Vot~~ .
