The property <br />is to be zoned for commercial use." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Johnson, and seconded by Mr. King, the matter to be referred to a <br />joint conference of the Planning Commission and City Cauncil, was adopted by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, King, IrvineSSmith, Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 72-79 "I submit the attached letter from the Virginia <br />Commission pertaining to the boundaries of the Virginia Dare <br />District. <br /> <br />Soil and Water Conservation <br />Soil and Water Conservation <br /> <br /> The Virginia Dare District was established by the City of Chesapeake prior to the <br />1968 annexation by the City of Portsmouth. This is notice that the District is requesting <br />revisions in their boundaries to conform to the current corporate boundaries of the City <br />of Chesapeake and the City of Virginia Beach. <br /> <br /> We are currently studying the feasibility of the City of Portsmouth establishing a <br />Soil and Water Conservation District."
