<br /> The seventh ordinance deals with the Department of Social Services. This has been
<br />reworded to conform to State law and to reflect our current practices.

<br /> The next ordinance pertains to the Department of Engineering and eliminates the referenc~
<br />to building maintenance that has been included in the Public Works Department in a previous
<br />ordinance.

<br /> The next ordinance amends Sections 3-1 through 3-6 and 3-13 pertaining to animals and
<br />fowl. These sections have been reworded to eliminate useless verbage and to bring them
<br />up to date.
<br />
<br /> ~The last ordinance amends Sections 3-23 through 3-27 pertaining to the control of rabies
<br />In these sections where the word dog appears, it has been changed to read animal since animal
<br />other than dogs may have rabies. This is the:only change."
