Colvin, spokesmen for "We the People", was read: <br /> <br /> 'We the People' request that Douglas Colvin and Rudolph Jackson, registered members <br />and spokesmen of the above named organization in the City of Portsmouth, be placed o~ the <br />agends for the next City Council meeting, July 11, 1972. OUr planned subject of discussion <br />will be 'The Welfare and Safety' of the Black community." <br /> <br />Mr. Rudolph Jackson spoke. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Holley and seconded by Mr. Early, to suspend the rules and hear the <br />alternate.
