Holley, Burrell R. Johnson, <br /> Isaac W. King, Raymond B. Smith, Robert W. Wentz, Jr., A. P. Johnson, Jr., <br /> City Manager, C. M. Scialdone, Assistant City A~torney. <br /> <br /> Prayer was offered by Councilman King. <br /> <br /> 72-500 Public Hearing on rezoning, use permit applications, a proposed amendment to <br />the Comprehensive Plan and Regional Plans for Southeastern Virginia on the following was <br />held: <br /> <br />Zoning Petition Z 72-45 - Petition of Harold C. Beaver <br /> <br /> Mr. Harold Beaver spoke. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. Holley, the application be approved. <br /> <br /> Substitute motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. King, the petition be referred back <br />to the Planning Commission and they be more specific in their objections to this particular <br />matter, was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Early, Johns~g, King, Smith, Wentz, Barnes <br /> Nays: Holley <br /> <br />Zoning Petition Z 72-46 Petition of B. M. Schwetz <br /> <br /> Mr. Harold Beaver spoke. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Holley and <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />seconded by Mr. <br /> <br />Smith, the petition <br /> <br />be approved, <br /> <br />was defeat~ <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, Smith <br />Nays: Early, King, Went~, B. arnes <br /> <br />Zoning Petition Z 72-47 Petition of William A. & Austia S.
